Learning To Believe In Yourself After Trauma

Do you wonder why it’s hard to believe in yourself?

Do you think you're not good enough?

Let me tell you that believing is strength like no other.

Believing in yourself takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

Believing in yourself is a process especially after you have been through unspeakable trauma.

Believing in yourself comes through self care.

You have to be the one to self reflect and dig deep.

You need to know what you deserve and what you don’t.

Believing in yourself is based on your confidence, self esteem, and self worth.

You have to love yourself truly and fully.

You have to get to know yourself all over again.

Keep a journal, with your thoughts and your feelings.

Go to counseling.

Have people in your corner that will support you all the way through.

Get rid of anything toxic or negative in your life, rather it’s a relationship, a family member, or even a long time friend.

If it’s an ex that you have kids with, try to keep them at distance, have as little communication as possible.

Don’t hurt yourself more than you have already been hurt.

Don’t allow anything to hold you back.

Put yourself first, if you have to cancel plans last minute then do it.

You have to step up and do what makes you happy, that's how you will begin to believe in yourself.

Believing in yourself brings you that fire, passion, your drive, your energy.

Believing in yourself starts with you.

You have to be willing to make choices.

This is your life to live.

Tomorrow isn’t promised.

Be the best that you can be, and do the best that you can.

Trust and know that you can do anything.

Possibilities are endless.

You have the power within you to be everything that you want to be.

Be the hero in your story.

No one is coming to save you except for yourself.

You owe it to yourself to put in the work.

Give yourself positive affirmations.

Look at yourself in the mirror each and every day.

Tell yourself that you are worthy.

Your beauty shines on the inside and outside.

Find something you love about yourself.

What I love about myself is knowing that I may just inspire someone else.

That makes me believe in myself, through believing comes strength.

Remember you can do anything you set your mind to.
